Dr. Brian Kelemen

Meet Dr. Brian Kelemen

Education

A Hamilton native, Dr. Brian received his Bachelor of Science Degree from McMaster University in 1986. Four years later, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Western Ontario. In order to grow his skillset and provide patients with comprehensive cosmetic and restorative services, Dr. Brian studied and completed programs at Millennium Esthetics, the Misch International Implant Institute and the Kois Center, as well as many other courses.

Treatment Philosophy

After 28 years in dentistry, Dr. Brian knows how important it is to provide you with a comfortable and memorable experience when you need treatment. He is friendly to everyone he meets and helps as much as he can – because he believes you should be treated just like family. It’s important to him to have a positive impact on your smile … and life!

Home Life

Dr. Brian supports our community by fundraising for local charities, especially the Stoney Creek food bank. He also sponsors local sports teams and clubs. When he’s not busy enhancing smiles or volunteering, he enjoys cooking, cycling, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his wife Cathie and their children, Michael and Natalie.

Dr. Neal and Dr. Kelemen

Meet Dr. Neal

Education

I am originally from Sarnia, ON and moved to Hamilton in 2001, where I spent my high school years attending Bishop Ryan High School. While there I built many longstanding relationships with friends and families in the area, many of which are still close to me today.

In 2015, I embarked on my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney, Australia, where I graduated in early 2019, and promptly returned home to practice.

Treatment Philosophy

I have always had a passion for helping people, whether it is in general practice or community service and volunteer hours outside of dentistry. Notably, in 4th year of dental school, I was involved in a rural placement program, helping the disadvantaged community members of Bathurst, NSW Australia with all aspects of their dental needs.

Home Life

Away from dentistry, I enjoy being outdoors and participating in a variety of activities including; hiking, golfing, fishing, and snorkeling. I am also a sports enthusiast who enjoys both playing/watching just about everything; hockey, basketball, volleyball just to name a few.

I am pleased to become a part of the King East Dental family. My beliefs are the same as everyone at King East Dental – provide effective and compassionate dental care, all while treating patients and team members as family. I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful patients that I have heard so much about, and to being part of the local community.

Meet Dr. Cheryl Wattie

Education

Dr. Cheryl’s own smile concerns in Grade 4 inspired her to become a dentist. She first earned her Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University before completing her dental training at the University of Western Ontario. She grew up in Stoney Creek, and was pleased to return to our community after her studies. She loves seeing patients in her hometown and has a keen interest in helping children overcome their fear of dentistry.

Treatment Philosophy

At every appointment, Dr. Cheryl provides friendly high-quality patient care in a pleasant setting. Since she’s a big believer in good oral hygiene as a preventive measure, she educates her patients about what they can do to keep a healthy smile – long after treatment.

Outside The Office

When she’s not busy improving smiles, Dr. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, especially her little daughter who is mastering new skills every week. Her favourite hobbies include travelling, sports, cooking, and arts and crafts. Like Dr. Brian, Dr. Cheryl also gives back to the community. She has been volunteering for her father’s service organization ever since she was a young girl. Her “claim to fame” is that she was named a Winona Peach Princess … and she fixed a dental emergency for a pro gofer’s caddie when the RBC Canadian Open came to town.
